About Us

From an Aid to Families with Dependent Children Specialist to Chief Information Officer (CIO), Kim Brock has been involved in social services and technology for more then 30 years.

Before starting his own company, Kim Brock served as CIO for the Florida Department of Children and Families. Early in his career Mr. Brock helped develop the FLORIDA System, a database that houses the information of Florida’s more than 2 million public assistance recipients. As CIO, Mr. Brock oversaw the Florida public assistance program change from a manual process to a web-based process.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Mr. Brock led the massive public assistance effort as Disaster Food Stamp Administrator to ensure needed food and supplies reached the nearly 250,000 citizens affected by the destructive and costly storm.

During the 2004 – 2005 hurricane seasons, one of the most devastating in Florida, Mr. Brock had the unique opportunity to oversee the “Food for Florida” emergency assistance program. “Food for Florida” was an automated process created to provide emergency assistance to millions of families affected by the hurricanes. Out of this excercise came what is now ACCESS Florida (Automated Community Connection for Economic Self Sufficiency), a fully web-based public assistance portal.

During his 31 year career in the public sector, Mr. Brock and his teams have earned close to 100 awards for innovations in technology and cost saving services. His varied experiences in public service have taught him how to combine public and private sector expertise to balance the needs of people with technology.
